LUCÍA VÁZQUEZ CERRATO
Born in Escurial (Cáceres), Lucía Vázquez Cerrato is a graduate in Romance Philology from the University of Extremadura, a professional proofreader from the European University of Madrid, a linguistic consultant and advisor for various companies, and a translation project coordinator (or, as the fashion dictates, Project Manager) for national and international advertising, marketing, and communication companies with more than 18 years of experience. She is a founding partner of this linguistic consultancy and translation agency and of the Sala Targumán in Cáceres (an institution that holds specialised courses and workshops for translators and proofreaders). An unabashed enthusiast of calligraphy, ink, letters, paper… and of fearlessly getting involved in interesting initiatives.
ALFREDO SENDÍN DOMÍNGUEZ
Born in Madrid, but now residing in Cáceres, Alfredo Sendín Domínguez holds a degree in English Philology from the University of Alcalá de Henares and a master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation from the University of Seville. Translator, transcreator, and proofreader with 20 years of experience working with Spanish, European, and North American companies. He is a founding member of this company and has a hidden passion for fantasy and science fiction and an obsession for conciseness and precision in writing. He is also an enthusiastic master’s swimmer, from which comes his penchant for diving headfirst into whatever captures his interest.
MARÍA VALERO ESPACIO
Born in Cáceres, María Valero Espacio holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and is a Senior Technician in Audiovisual Media from the El Brocense Institute in Cáceres. She is a professional layout designer of print and electronic publications for various companies and publishers. A specialist in editing video and photography, she has experience in projects in Spain and Portugal and has worked as a Community Manager for several national companies. She loves crochet, knitting, embroidery and macramé, and is always ready to stitch anything, if necessary.
